GrAI Matter Labs (www.graimatterlabs.ai) is a growing fabless semiconductor company with offices in San Jose, Paris and Eindhoven offering its employees tremendous growth opportunities in some of today’s hottest silicon technologies: Neuromorphic compute, Machine learning, and Artificial intelligence.

We are looking for a System Architect for our revolutionary artificial intelligence engines. Your end-to-end solutions will impact edge devices the remotest corners of the internet-of-things.

You will bring proven experience in architecting robust and full solutions on edge devices, such as security cameras, drones, cars, home automation systems, etc. These solutions could range from e.g. heart-rate monitoring to video analytics and autonomous driving. Experience with different system aspects of artificial intelligence processing is appreciated.

Responsibilities

As a leading member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for architecting end-to-end solutions for artificial intelligence and machine learning applications. These solutions typically consist of combinations of different classes of algorithms, software stacks, artificial intelligence silicon IPs, board-level components, and sensors and actuators.

Since GML is a semiconductor company, your efforts will be mostly targeted towards demonstrating the end-to-end integration of our devices. And you will work with our customers, i.e. system integrators who apply our silicon in their products.

You will contribute to developing our roadmap for artificial intelligence SoCs, in line with the requirements of various high-growth markets. These roadmaps take into account the technical and physical characteristics and constraints of e.g. silicon implementation processes, software development, and optimization techniques.

Requirements

  • M.Sc or Phd in Computer Science, Neuroscience, Electrical Engineering, or related field;
  • 15+ years of experience in the fields of media and/or other signal processing applications;
  • Experience in architecting end-to-end solutions, consisting of both software and hardware;
  • Experience in technical leadership roles;
  • Excellent problem analysis skills;
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both speaking and writing)

Nice to have

  • Working knowledge of artificial intelligence, deep learning, or neuromorphic compute;
  • Experience with common requirements management practices;
